|
| Welcome to the Faces and Voices Exercise. This exercise provides an opportunity to learn how well you recognize the emotional expressions of others. It has been well-validated and used extensively in academic research. For more information about the exercise, also known as the "DANVA", please contact its developer, Professor Steve Nowicki from Emory University at snowick@emory.edu. | |

Instructions |
|
| The Faces and Voices test is very brief. It
requires only about 3 minutes for the Faces Exercise and 5 minutes for the
Voices Exercise. You will view photographs of facial expressions and
listen to audio recordings of vocal tones, and you will make a judgment
about the emotional content expressed in each item.
