This photo can be either a jpg or gif file. Place the image file in your public_html folder. Copy the exact file name into the html "IMG SRC" tag above. The same goes for the resume and editorial. Copy the exact file name into the html "A HREF" tags below.
If you have trouble, check the html code first. Make sure that the file names that appear inside the quotes are exactly the same as the names of the files in your UNIX directory. Note--UNIX is very case sensitive: "file" will be considered different from "File."
Second, make sure that all files have the correct extension appended. Web files will need to have the .html extension. Image files will need to have .jpg or .gif extensions. Finally, text files will need the .txt extension.
Finally, if you have other kinds of trouble, suspect the upload. It is easy to change binary files into text or vice versa. It is also common for people to upload the wrong type of image file. You cannot use .pct or .tif images. The photos must be jpg or gif. Make sure with an image manipulation program.
