Announcements for Fall 2008

The textbook for Fall 2008 is the new edition of Marketing an Introduction 9/e Armstrong and Kotler. You do not need any fancy add-ons like CDs or workbooks (we don't use them). However, I don't think there should be any used books that are reliable as the nominal © copyright date is 200_9_. (Copyright dates are like car model years--they change in August). While it's likely that you'll pay full price, please consider these cost-saving ideas:

•  You will be able to sell the book back at the end of the semester (we know that it is adopted for Spring 2009).
   

• Consider starting a textbook syndicate of two or more friends who will share the book. While you should keep up with the chapter reading week by week, it's not the kind of text you'd need to have in front of you in class each week.

Instructions for purchasing the on-line Reader from Study.net You have to go through Haas Catalyst, then register. Please follow this link for additional hints and instructions.

Prep Sessions for Groups Presenting

We run prep sessions for the groups who are presenting each case. (You cannot attend if your group is not presenting). They will run on Monday evenings at 4 p.m. (one hour), room t/b/a.  Send about two group members, and the standard is that you must have had one reading and one meeting about the case before attending. Here are the dates:
