Study.net on Catalyst
1. Log onto Catalyst (http://catalyst.haas.berkeley.edu)
with your SID and passphrase.
2. Click on the "Study.net" tab on the left of the screen.
3. You should see UGBA 106 as a listed course; highlight it and click "Enroll in
Course."
4. Accept the license agreement.
5. You must purchase the reader for $53.20; this gives you online access to the
Harvard Cases through Catalyst. You can print them out yourself or have them
mailed to you for $18.00. Several students choose this option because the cases
are long (about 20 pages each), and having the printed cases is convenient.
6. When you want to access the materials, sign on to Catalyst and click on the "Study.net"
tab again. You will be directed to the cases.
Submitting work on Catalyst
1. Log on to Catalyst (http://catalyst.haas.berkeley.edu)
using Internet Explorer. In the past, some other browsers have not
allowed students to submit their work.
2. In the "Courses" tab on the left, choose UGBA 106.
3. Click on "Calendar." You should see a drop box on the date your case
analysis is due. Click on it.
4. Browse to find your file. Don't forget to click the "upload" button after
selecting your file!
*Hint: Catalyst seems to work better on PC's than Macs. If you are working on a
group case, you just need to submit one copy of the brief, so find out who's
been uploading without problems.
