Industrial Organization Community at Berkeley

U.C. Berkeley has a very large industrial organization community.   The community includes 5 former chief economists of the Department of Justice and 3 former chief economists of the Federal Communications Commission.  Berkeley was also the birthplace in 1995 of IOfest, the annual Berkeley-Stanford one-day conference in industrial organization that rotates between Berkeley and Stanford, and now draws faculty from all over California.

Researchers in IO, however, are not all in the places one might at first look: the economics department and business school.  And the community changes constantly with people visiting Berkeley and going on leave.  Below is a (no doubt incomplete) list that I've put together of IO researchers at Berkeley with links to their web pages.  (Please feel free to let me know of omissions, corrections and changes.) -- Severin Borenstein
